5 Fun Things You Can Do At A Sleepover As An Adult

Things to do at a sleepover

Everyone has sleepovers whether you’re a child, teen, or an adult; it’s very exciting spending time with friends and bonding over the things we love. Sleepovers are a great way to build a better connection with the people we love; it’s also a great way to get to know each other on a more personal level. As we grow older the things we used to do as kids or as teens are just not as fun anymore as adults. I’m going to share with you things you could do at a sleepover as an adult.

5 Things To Do At A Sleepover As An Adult

#1 Movie Night

Watching movies at sleepovers is very cliché, however, I feel like as adults there are no restrictions to what you can watch. There are ways to make movie night more unique and exciting. An idea would be having a theme for the night this could be fantasy, horror, romance, or Disney because everyone loves Disney regardless of age. Once you’ve chosen the theme, have everyone attending pick a movie under that theme and then at the sleepover have everyone rate each movie from the best to least movie of what they want to watch that night. This makes it a fun way to choose movies and prevents arguments.

#2 Try Out New Foods

You can try out new cultural foods with your friends such as Indian, Korean, Chinese, African, etc. Instead of ordering the food, making the food together is a great way to bond and spend more time with each other. This is important because it gives you something to do together but it’s also riveting trying out new things with the ones you love. It brings you closer. It’s always nice to have desserts at a sleepover and even more thrilling when you make it together. There are so many simple dessert recipes you can make together and liven up such as cupcakes, cheesecakes etc.

#3 Make Cocktails

As adults you have an advantage at sleepovers because you can drink alcohol; even so, if you’re an adult who doesn’t drink you can make mocktails. There are so many cocktail recipes you can make, or if you want to make it more stirring you could make it your own. There are many ways you can make the drinks, whether it’s all in one container and everyone adds everything they want or individually. This way you can have competitions and judges and decide who made the best cocktail.

#4 Games & Forfeits

There are so many games out there that you can try out with your friends. Just like I mentioned with movie night; there are ways you can make game night fun and interesting. There are so many games that you can make your own such as Jenga; where you can write a forfeit on each block such as taking a shot or a truth or dare. You can have teams to make the games more interesting and competitive, most games are still fun and exciting to play as an adult such as twister, charades, Pictionary, etc. If a team or someone loses, you can have a laugh by having forfeits for the whole team or that person.

#5 Self-care

Having a night dedicated to self-care is a nice way to relax and bond with friends. Try out new self-care products together, there are so many new self-care products you can try at home that are very imaginative. These include things such as different face masks like bubble masks, or charcoal peel masks which are said to be painful. However, have a laugh together trying out new things. You can also do each others manicures, which is a great way to catch up with everyone.
