Perfectly Incomplete

Perfectly Incomplete

I look at me
And I couldn’t imagine myself
As anyone else.
I admire beauty,
I’m attracted to beauty.
But one thing I could
Never be,
Is anyone else.

I May not be perfect,
But my features were
Perfectly placed.

We look up at our faces,
But do we ever look down…
At our fingertips,
Or the birthmark that’s weirdly
shaped but creates a natural art.

When we were young,
We were taught the basic colours,
Do you ever wonder how many
Colours would have to mingle
To create your tone?
It would be a palette crowded
With colours.
Eventually with time it would
create a colour so perfect
But incomplete.
