Mirror Mirror On the Wall

I see you everyday
Sometimes you come to me happy,
Smiling and it makes my day
I see the way you smile back at your beauty
Blissful and content of your good looks
I believe that’s called self-love.

But then other days you come to me sad,
With a frown on your face.
I wonder if the skies outside
Also turn gloomy as I do.
How can one be so content
With themselves One day,
And sneer at themselves another day?

Each time you come to me,
I watch as you scrutinize every inch of yourself.
If you were to ask me I would say,
Yes you are the fairest of them all
You are beautiful,
No matter the “imperfections”.
