Why do the leaves on the trees
Have to fall down?
They create such beauty to the eye,
They are homes to millions,
And they entertain as they dance all day.
Once they fall,
The world becomes still.
I wonder if leaves that regrow in spring,
Hold the souls of the old ones.
Do the barks miss the leaves
Once they’re gone?
They must feel lonely and cold
As winter starts to creep in.
Do you think they also become impatient,
Waiting for the summer?
So the leaves can restore the harmony
There once was.
